The adidas Micropacer, a revolutionary electronic running shoe born in 1984, has been the inspiration for a number of shoes, including the NMD and more recently the Futurepacer Boost.
The adidas Micropacer NMD R1 with Full Palm Boost features a vintage Micropacer look on the upper, the iconic silver color scheme is back, and the small pocket on the upper that was originally designed to hold a pedometer is also retained.
Featuring a full Boost midsole from the NMD R1, it's worth noting that the two-tone stabilization module on the NMD midsole is a nod to the original Micropacer. The Micropacer upper is now combined with the NMD sole for an even more classic retro look.
